Take your vintage jewelry to Gilger! Gilger just did a fantastic job repairing a vintage ring I brought to them after a different jewelry store (not in Ames) was unable to help me. Gilger has the correct tools for working on delicate pieces that cannot take heat, which was crucial for restoring this ring. They were excited about the project, and diligently searched for gemstones that closely matched those on the ring to replace the ones that were missing. They had me check the stones before doing the repair to make sure I was happy with them, and then they very efficiently set to work on the needed repairs. The cost of the repair was very reasonable and clearly explained, and the ring looks great!

10/10 would recommend! After my diamond fell out of my ring, I went to the chain jewelry store where I purchased my ring only for them to tell me it would be impossible to restore my ring and upgrade my diamond size without spending close to $2,000+ dollars. I went to Gilger designs where they assured me they would be able to restore my ring and more with a fraction of the cost. There was very little downtime, they were constantly communicating with me on the design of the new ring and its upgrade. Supporting a small local jeweler was the best decision I made! Could not recommend more!
